Social media for hotels

A hotel's problem is not the summer. It is October, February and the week after Easter.

Talk about your property

A hotel's problem is not the summer. It is October, February and the week after Easter, when the rooms are there and the bookings are not.

I build content so the quiet season does not go silent, in Portuguese and in English, because half the people booking do not speak Portuguese.

What usually goes wrong

The account sleeps out of season

Posting all summer and going quiet in November trains the algorithm, and your guests, to forget you exactly when you need them.

One language only

A large part of the people booking a room in Portugal do not read Portuguese. A single-language feed quietly loses half its audience.

Photos of rooms, nothing else

People book a place, not a mattress. The neighbourhood, the breakfast, the walk to the river: that is what makes someone choose you over the listing next door.

What I do for you

  • A calendar planned by season, with the quiet months treated as the real work
  • Posts in Portuguese and English, written for guests who are comparing three places
  • Content beyond the rooms: the area, the food, the small reasons people remember a stay
  • Coordination with your booking channels so what you promise online matches what is available
  • Messages and comments answered, with real enquiries sent straight to you
  • Ads aimed at the dates you actually need to fill

Common questions

What do you post in the quiet season?

The quiet season is when the bookings for the next one are made. Rooms, the neighbourhood, staff, breakfast, the small details people compare before booking.

Do you post in English and Portuguese?

Yes. For accommodation most of the audience is foreign, so captions are usually written in both.

Do you work with small guesthouses too?

Yes. Local accommodation with a few rooms is one of the easier accounts to grow, because the content is already there.

How we start

We look at your calendar and find the weeks that worry you. I come back with a plan for those weeks first, and a price. No long contract to begin.

Tell me what is not working

A few lines are enough. No sales sequence, no account manager. I read every message myself and answer within a working day.
